Robert M. Ferrieri Nominated by Governor Carcieri to Serve on Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court
RHODE ISLAND - Robert M. Ferrieri was nominated by Governor Carcieri to serve on the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court. Ferrieri replaces Associate Judge John Rotundi, Jr. The Governor’s nomination is subject to the advice and consent of the Rhode Island Senate.
“With over more than 20 years of experience in workers’ compensation law, Bob Ferrieri’s vast knowledge and understanding of the law will best serve the Workers' Compensation Court,” Governor Carcieri said.
Ferrieri is a partner in the law firm Lombardi & Ferrieri, PC, concentrating in workers compensation, real estate closings and personal injury. From 1986 to 2001, Ferrieri was an associate with John N. Calvino Law Associates, again concentrating in workers compensation and personal injury. Previously, Ferrieri worked at the Law Office of John Andrew Thompson.
Ferrieri earned a J.D. at Suffolk Law School in 1985 and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Providence College in 1982. Ferrieri is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Rhode Island Association for Justice, the Justinian Law Society, and the Workers’ Compensation Bench Bar Committee.
Ferrieri resides in Johnston with his wife Paula and their two children Nicholas and Lindsay.
