Judge: Asarco's parent directors breached duty
TUCSON, Ariz. – (AP) The directors at a parent unit of an Arizona copper miner breached their fiduciary duties to creditors by transferring stock ownership in a Peruvian mining concern, a federal judge has ruled.
Arizona's Asarco is now in bankruptcy reorganization and fighting to prevent Grupo Mexico SAB from reacquiring the company. Full version (available to lexis.com subscribers)
