Prosecutors request jail for Parmalat founder
MILAN, Italy – (AP) Prosecutors at the Milan trial over the collapse of Parmalat in 2003 have requested a 13-year jail sentence for Calisto Tanzi, founder of the Italian dairy giant.
 
Prosecutor Eugenio Fusco on Monday also requested sentences ranging from 3 1/2 to six years in jail for other former Parmalat officials and banking consultants. Full version (available to lexis.com subscribers)
