Export-Import Bank adopts sweeping energy policy
WASHINGTON – (Greenwire) The Export-Import Bank of the United States unveiled a comprehensive carbon policy today that includes a $250 million facility to support renewable energy exports.
 
The congressionally chartered bank -- the nation's official export credit agency -- does not compete with private-sector lenders but provides direct loans, credit insurance and other products that fill gaps in trade financing.
