TOXICS: Little knowledge, much speculation on Chinese drywall emissions
(Greenwire) A defective Chinese drywall used in the construction of many houses during the past decade has researchers, entrepreneurs and contractors scrambling to mitigate the corrosive gases now being leaked from walls across the country.
Certain types of drywall imported from China emit a sulfuric gas that is thought to corrode metals in homes.
