As reported in Business Insurance, dissatisfaction among state regulators over the terms of American International Group's 2006 agreement to pay $343 million to resolve allegations that it underreported workers' compensation premiums to states, has led to long delays to settle the matter, with the deadline now being extended to 12/31/2009 for states to opt into the agreement.
