AUGUSTA, ME - Employers in Maine continue to pressure the Workers' Compensation Board to create a medical fee schedule that considerably lowers medical fees that hospitals and other medical providers can charge them for treatment of injured workers. Medical providers argue that if the fees are too low, they will stop taking on workers' compensation cases.
