Senate Panel Disfavors 24-Hour Amendment for Healthcare Reform

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Underwriter reports that the Senate Finance Committee completed its work on health care reform legislation today, taking no action whatsoever on the so-called “24 hour amendment,” which would have merged medical components of workers’ compensation and auto insurance with health insurance,.but that the issue could resurface when the bill is considered by the full Senate.
