SACRAMENTO, CA - The California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA), whose members represent Californians injured on the job, today announced that it has installed a new president and team of officers for the coming year. CAAA aims to provide California injured workers the opportunity for fair workers' compensation benefits and re-entry into the community as productive citizens. Adam Dombchik, partner with the Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation firm Gordon, Edelstein, Krepack, Grant, Felton & Goldstein, has been named President of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association (CAAA) for 2009-10. “CAAA is a unique and special organization. Its members work together as a team for the common good of protecting the rights of California’s injured workers. I’m proud to be a part of this team and grateful for the opportunity to serve,” said Dombchik.

Mr. Dombchik, age 38, is one of the youngest members ever to serve in this position. Mr. Dombchik received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Pennsylvania State University in Speech Communication, a law degree from Southwestern University School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in California and Florida. For four years, Law & Politics magazine has named Mr. Dombchik a "Rising Star" among Southern California lawyers. Dombchik said his priorities for the coming year include, “Electing a new governor who will fairly treat Californians injured on the job; restoring fair permanent disability compensation for work injuries, ending discrimination against women, minorities and senior citizens injured on the job, and restoring prompt, quality medical care for at-work injuries.”
