SAN FRANCISCO, CA – In a ceremony Tuesday, LexisNexis Vice President George Bearese and Senior Directors Kathryn Caverly and Alison Chase honored several individuals, including Robin E. Kobayashi, J.D., for their exemplary achievements as “Great Performers”. Ms. Kobayashi is the Workers’ Compensation Practice Lead Editor and Site Coordinator for the LexisNexis Workers’
Compensation
Law
Center.
Director Serena Wellen issued this statement at the event:
Robin E. Kobayashi is a legal editor who is in charge of our top notch workers’ compensation product line. She’s been with Matthew Bender and LexisNexis for many years, and is very much responsible for the quality and success of the workers’ compensation product line. She is one of the best at what she does. This past year, Robin had a number of initiatives within the Workers’ Compensation product line which merited a spotlight award. First, she conceived of and quickly executed a vision for a new 21-year CD-ROM archive of California Workers' Compensation Law. This product is unique to the market, and we expect it to drive incremental revenue this year. Second, she conceived of and executed on a new vision for Occupational Injuries and Illnesses so that this rejuvenated product could become relevant to new markets. Third, Robin also has been mentoring a fellow team member on editing best practices for new editions and new products, thereby spreading her expertise. Finally, she has come up with several innovations for the LexisNexis Communities, which have driven traffic and revenue to the LexisNexis Workers’ Compensation Law Center: Top Blog Awards, Person of the Year Awards, and E-Newsletters, to name a few. Congratulations Robin!
