BISMARCK, N.D. –North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm today said that he’s rejected a request from Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota for a 14.8 percent premium increase on individual policies. Hamm told WKYR-TV that the company didn’t complete information to validate its request, misled his department about payment to health care providers and stonewalled the department when it sought information.
