Damon M. Lyon is a partner in McDermott Will & Emery's tax department.  He became partner in January 2006. Mr. Lyon represents a number of U.S. multinational corporations, including Abbot Laboratories, IBM, and Procter & Gamble. He focuses on international tax planning for multinational companies. Mr. Lyon advises on a broad range of tax issues relating to cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, reorganizations and joint ventures. He also provides advice concerning multi-jurisdictional business structures, working extensively with accounting firms and a network of foreign lawyers.

Mr. Lyon earned his J.D. cum laude at the University of Michigan Law School. He earned his B.A. at Michigan State University.
