Do you know an exceptional emerging attorney in the field of tax law?

The LexisNexis® Tax Law Center and the Lexis® Hub are joining forces to feature attorneys who are relatively new to the tax field but who are already making an impact. If you know an attorney in private practice who has been practicing fewer than 10 years who is exceeding expectations, nominate him or her for consideration for our Notable Newcomer series in which we’ll profile the attorney (after receiving the candidate’s permission of course!) and his or her accomplishments on the LexisNexis® Tax Law Center and the Lexis® Hub for New Attorneys. 

Some examples of what we consider to be notable may be that the attorney has been instrumental in obtaining a major decision or settlement for a client, has been the youngest to make partner in a given firm, goes above and beyond in serving public interest law initiatives directed toward tax advocacy or preparation for the needy, or have made significant contributions in academia or tax policy. This isn’t a contest! In that vein, while we encourage your ideas, the number of submissions of any name won’t sway our decision, so no need to recruit family and friends to send multiple submissions.

Those candidates whom we decide to pursue will be contacted and interviewed by our Tax Law Center team, who will then make a subjective determination as to whom to profile. We’ll be making our determination based upon our subjective evaluation of the interest of the attorney’s accomplishments to our readers.
