About the Authors Ann AllottPrimary Shareholder, Allott Immigration Law Firm
Ann Allott is the primary shareholder in the Allott Immigration Law Firm, a firm of five lawyers specializing in immigration and nationality matters for more than thirty years. Ms. Allott has written a handbook for employers concerning employer sanctions, which she has kept updated since 1987, and she has spoken at American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) conventions concerning worksite enforcement against employers. Her interest in immigration law has earned her memberships in the Colorado Restaurant Association, the Denver Advisory Board, the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association and several other trade organizations in
Colorado
. Ms. Allott has been consistently recognized as a Super Lawyer in immigration law since the beginning of that classification. She has held an AV rating in Martindale Hubbell since 1976. She received her J.D. from the Colorado School of Law in 1965. After law school, she was a Colorado Assistant District Attorney for seven years.
