About the Authors

David R. Heckadon is a Partner in Gordon & Rees LLP's San Francisco office. He is the group leader for the firm's Green Technology and Climate Change practice group. He is also a patent attorney and member of the firm's Intellectual Property Group. He is admitted to the California, Ontario (Canada) and U.S. Patent Bars. He received his law degree from the University of Calgary. He holds an M.B.A, a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor.
