Warren's Negligence in the New York Courts, Second Edition
Posted by

The recently released Second Edition of Warren’s Negligence in the New York Courts completely modernizes and updates this classic treatise on New York negligence law and procedure. With thousands of New York-specific cases, Warren’s Negligence provides authoritative support for almost every type of negligence action an attorney will encounter.

For almost half a century, Warren’s Negligence in the New York Courts has been a trusted authority for negligence attorneys practicing in New York. It is one of the most thorough, New York-specific treatises ever published, with detailed coverage of the key legal aspects of New York negligence law and procedural matters for both plaintiff and defense attorneys.

This classic publication received a complete modernization just a couple of years ago. Transforming from a 20-volume, hardbound publication to a much more reader-friendly seven-volume looseleaf format, the Second Edition of Warren’s Negligence has been completely revised and updated by an impressive Board of Editors comprised of some of New York’s most prestigious personal injury/negligence attorneys.

Logically organized, Warren’s Negligence contains 250 chapters dealing with the Essentials of Negligence, Defenses to Negligence Actions, Parties Negligent, Persons Injured, Places of Injury, Instrumentalities of Injury, Types of Actions, and Damages. There are over 400 fact patterns described in Warren’s Negligence that make it virtually certain an attorney will find reported New York decisions that are "just like my case."

The publication is updated twice a year, and is constantly being reviewed by the Board of Editors for developments in the law that may require the addition of new chapters or the revision of existing chapters.
