About the Authors Robin van der HoutLawyer, Kemmler Rapp Böhlke
Robin van der Hout is a lawyer at KRB Kemmler Rapp Böhlke – EU Law Office (http://www.eurojura.be) in Brussels. He advises on all aspects of EU Law, in particular EU Competition Law and International Trade Law, including litigation matters. He has written several articles and books on the topic and is a lecturer at the Europa-Institut Saarbrücken/Germany. Mr. van der Hout was awarded his law degree from the University of the Saarland in 1999 and then proceeded to obtain a Masters degree in European law in 2003 (LL.M.). In 2006, he then obtained his title as “Dr. iur.”. He is a member of the Brussels and the Saarbrücken Bar and a member of the German Lawyers Association. He is fluent in German, English, French, and Dutch.
Mr. van der Hout is an author for the German LexisNexis’ online TEC commentary (Articles 6, 174 – 188 TEC). He is also a contributor to Smit & Herzog on the Law of the European Union, a LexisNexis publication organized under the auspices of the Center for International Legal Studies (www.cils.org), an Austrian registered (ZVR No. 208672816) non-profit legal research and education organization.
