Roland Niemi Law Group, PLLC, has a combined legal experience of over three decades, knowledge of a wide-variety of law and vast experience in handling Kentucky workers’ compensation, personal injury and disability claims, as well as real estate matters.

The attorneys of RNLG are respected members of the bar and have extensive experience practicing Kentucky workers’ compensation law. RNLG attorneys have appeared before the Administrative Law Judges of the Kentucky Office of Workers’ Claims; delivered countless arguments to the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Board, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, and the Kentucky Supreme Court; and have cross-examined medical experts throughout the workers’ compensation medical arena. In short, RNLG has the experience and the knowledge to predict potential outcomes, choose the appropriate evidence and experts to address those possible outcomes and to properly evaluate a matter’s potential value. Marcus A. Roland is a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated* attorney (BV) and has practiced law in Kentucky for over 13 years. He received his B.A. from Union College , his M.A. from the University of Cincinnati, and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Marc has practice experience in multiple areas of the law including estate and probate law, criminal law, family law, and general civil law. He has spent the largest part of his career handling workers’ compensation claims. Roland has represented clients, appeared before Administrative Law Judges and presented arguments to the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Board, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court in over 1,000 matters. Marc is also a trained mediator, a trained meeting facilitator, and was October’s featured consultant with HG.org. Roland has presented at a variety of seminars and is the editor of Roland Niemi Law Group’s monthly workers’ compensation e-zine. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Kentucky courts and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky. Mark P. Niemi has practiced law for nearly a decade. He received his B.S. with high honors from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Mark has a varied legal background as well, including prior experience as chief counsel with an account management company with significant experience in handling workers’ compensation claims for government agencies and private law firms. Mark is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association. He has delivered in-house seminars on workers’ compensation medical fee disputes and has handled hundreds of workers’ compensation claims before Administrative Law Judges, the Workers’ Compensation Board, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court. Niemi is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Fayette County Bar Association, Commerce Lexington and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.

Jeff Ellis, Of Counsel, has practiced law for nearly a decade. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Kentucky College of Law. He has a varied legal background consisting of general civil practice, real estate, contract negotiations and workers’ compensation law. Over the years, his major clients have been First Liberty Financial Services of Kentucky; Heritage Title Services; American Commercial Title & Escrow; U.S. Title of Louisville; Foreman-Watson Land Title; JPMorganChase Bank; South Central Bank of Kentucky; Onyx Energy America LLC; and Mid Continent Producer & Pipeline Services LLC.
