Dr. Steven Feinberg is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME).
Dr. Feinberg is a past president (1996) of the American
Academy of
Pain Medicine. He served as a longtime member of the Board of Directors of the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery and served as President in 2001. He serves on the Board of Directors to the American Chronic Pain Association. He also serves as the Medical Director for Cedaron AMA Guides Software.
Dr. Feinberg is an Adjunct Clinical Professor and teaches at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Feinberg received the 1998 Professional of the Year Award from the California Governor's Committee on Employment of the Disabled. He is the recipient of the 1999
American
Academy of Pain Medicine Founders Award. In 2006, he received the CSIMS Silver Scalpel Award and the Stanford Pain Service Excellence in Teaching Award.
He is in private practice in Palo Alto and
Los Gatos, California.
On a personal note, Dr. Feinberg has been married (happily) to the same woman, Erica, for 42+ years and is the proud father of four adult children. His special friend and canine companion, Casey, accompanies him to work daily.
