Professor William H. Byrnes, IV, is a U.S. attorney currently serving as Associate Dean, Walter H. & Dorothy B. Diamond International Tax & Financial Services Graduate Program. He was formerly an Associate Director at Coopers & Lybrand. Professor Byrnes pioneered distributive legal education through creating the first Internet delivered legal degree in the United States, offered by a School of Law accredited by the American Bar Association. He has authored, co-authored or revised numerous publications on federal and international tax, and is the revising co-author of the Matthew Bender publications: Tax and Trade Briefs, Tax Havens of the World, as well as the Treaty Withholding Guide.
