Tom Moylan is a legal journalist who has covered product liability litigation and mass torts for the past 13 years. He currently edits Mealey’s Emerging Drugs & Devices Report, a twice-monthly litigation newsletter for plaintiff and defense attorneys. He also oversees Mealey’s separate litigation reports on diet drugs (fen-phen), vaccines, arthritis drugs (Vioxx), antidepressants, Prempro, ephedra, phenylpropanolamine (PPA), and heart drugs and devices. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from The Ohio State University and has 18 years of experience working as a reporter and editor for two newspapers. His reporting has earned him awards from the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.
