Cent. Valley Chrysler-Jeep, Inc. v. Goldstone, 2007 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 91309
State regulation of vehicle emissions was not preempted by Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) or foreign policy, since fuel economy standards under EPCA were required to consider both federal and state emission regulations, and strategy to negotiate global emissions agreements was not policy with which state regulations were in conflict.
