Kennedy v. Plan Adm'r for DuPont Sav. & Inv. Plan, 129 S. Ct. 865 (2009)
Administrator of employee benefit plan governed by ERISA properly paid benefits to former spouse of decedent, even though spouse's waiver of benefits in divorce decree did not constitute impermissible alienation of benefits, since decedent did not change beneficiary and spouse did not expressly disclaim benefits in accordance with terms of plan.
