About the Authors Zhan HaoExecutive Partner, Grandall Legal Group, Beijing
Zhan Hao received his LL.B. and LL.M. from Wuhan University. He earned his Ph.D. (Specializing in Economic Law) from Peking University. Dr. Zhan was one of four lawyers across China chosen to study in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Spain through the China -- EU Jurisdiction and Law Cooperation Program. He was a member of the Expert Group for the amendment of the Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China and an Insurance Law columnist for the China Insurance Paper. Currently, Zhan Hao is the Secretary General of the Professional Committee of Economy for the China Bar Association and in charge of the insurance law and anti-monopoly law forums. Dr. Zhan has represented clients in insurance matters and has given lectures on insurance dispute settlement and anti-monopoly law. In addition, he has published many books in China and in the U.S., most of which are about insurance law and anti-trust law. He also has a background in litigation and arbitration. He is an Executive partner at Grandall Legal Group (Beijing.)
