Robert Rassp

Robert Rassp understands just how fleeting fame can be. He was one of the original founding members of the rock group Quiet Riot, joining up with the group in junior high. But not long after, "Two of us went to college; the other three went on to be rich and famous." He hasn't lost his love of performing, however. These days he plays old style rock and roll with a group called The Saps.

But Robert isn't spending all his spare time in clubs. He's the author of The Lawyer's Guide to the AMA Guides and California Workers' Compensation and remains active conducting and speaking at workers' compensation seminars. You can catch up with his latest changes to the 2009 edition by reading his blogs, viewing his videocast, or listening to his podcast right now.

Robert is also proud of his work as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Friends Research Institute (, an organization that provides education and counseling services and conducts studies on substance abuse, mental health and criminal justice.
