Withers Hong Kong has been named Matrimonial Law Firm of the Year by Asian Legal Business in the 2011 ALB Hong Kong Law Awards. The award comes less than 12 months since international law firm Withers significantly expanded its family law team in Hong Kong and launched the world’s first international cross-jurisdiction family law service.

In October 2010, Withers announced that it had appointed one of Hong Kong’s leading family lawyers, Sharon Ser, as Partner and head of the firm’s family law practice in Hong Kong. Withers now has a team of seven family lawyers based in Hong Kong, including the firm’s Hong Kong Office Managing Director Marcus Dearle, who work alongside Withers’ London team to offer a seamless service to clients with interests in both locations, as well as in China and throughout Asia.
