Peter Lareau

Peter Lareau has been engaged in the practice of labor and employment law for the better part of four decades. Starting as a field attorney with the National Labor Relations Board in 1968, he subsequently moved to the Venable law firm where he remained for 25 years and was a partner in the firm’s Baltimore, Maryland office practicing in the fields of labor and employment law and employee benefits. Since moving to England, in 1995, and then to California, Mr. Lareau’s work has primarily involved researching and writing on subjects in his fields of expertise. He is the author of “NLRA: Law and Practice,” a six volume looseleaf treatise, and “Drafting the Union Contract,” both of which are published by Lexis Nexis Matthew Bender. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Bender’s monthly labor and employment law journal, the “Bender’s Labor and Employment Bulletin.”
