Launched on Lexis.com in December 2007, New Appleman Premium Online Checklists is a stand-alone online premium checklist product that supplements the master checklists included in the New Appleman Practice Guide that also launched in December 2007.

 

The online checklists provide step-by-step guidance through significant tasks related to insurance coverage disputes such as analyzing insurance policies to determine coverage, drafting insurance complaints and preparing pre-discovery motions. Each checklist starts with insights from expert authors that will provide users with helpful hints, strategic points and warnings to consider before using a checklist. Each task within a checklist includes relevant cross-references to New Appleman Practice Guide, statutes and codes, other insurance products, and forms for further guidance. The checklists are organized in volumes: the first volume includes checklists for pre-litigation tasks, the second volume includes checklists for litigation tasks, and the third volume includes checklists addressing tasks relevant to the various lines of insurance including directors’ and officers’ liability insurance and disability insurance.
